Project E-vita Inpatient SystemsTM Inpatients
Overview
Track your patients movements through provider hospitals
around the world with Project E-vitaTM Third Party Inpatient Systems.
Instantly see which patients are admitted and where they are admitted with real-time
online "Bed States".
Admissions are created with SNOMED-CT coding to classify
the urgency (Elective/emergency) of the case and the specialty (EG Orthopaedics)
and operators can add data to show, admission/discharge dates, location in the hospital
(Ward), physician, date of Discharge Note and date of Discharge Summary. Project
E-vitaTM can then be used to track down missing documentation and ensure
contractual compliance with dataset demands.
Project E-vitaTM can use it's
Active Template systems to assist in the physical generation of Discharge
documentation and then by using the DispatchGateTM
technologies these documents can be stored in a secure manner on the Patients
EPR within the system itself.
ICD-10 and Procedure coding
In addition to all the SNOMED-CT coding that can be added
to patient admission records, Project E-vitaTM also allows the recording
of ICD-10 coding and OPCS-4 procedure coding. These codes can either be entered
directly onto the Admission record or a user can use the Cross
mapping systems to cross code from the SNOMED-CT records to either ICD10
or OPCS4.
HRG/DRG
If you have a requirement for linking your caseload with
Resource Grouper software Project E-vita technologies can be quickly setup to integrate
with Third Party grouper software for the speedy calculation of cost effective and
accurate Resource Groups.
Provider Categories
Provider hospitals in Project E-vitaTM can
be assigned categories enabling analysis and reporting routines to provide a unique
degree of aggregation of caseload and case mix. For instance you could categorise
hospitals between "Contracted" and "Un-contracted" and analyse all caseload both
geographically as well as by category.
