Telehealth Monitoring FAQ

Project E-vita Telehealth. More than just monitoring.

Listed below are some of the common questions we get about our Telehealth service. If you have any questions then click here to send a query to our support team who will be only too happy to assist you.

  • Q - Is the software complicated to use?
  • A - Absolutely not. We had to design the system to be as easy as possible to use without being economical with functionality. Distributing the system worldwide requires that the product be easy to use to avoid on deployment costs and training.
  • Q - What Training is required?
  • A - We provide multimedia training guides and support to get your service up and running. The multimedia (Flash) training guides mean that you can work at your own pace.
  • Q - Do you provide on-site training?
  • A - Yes we can provide on-site training however this is chargeable.
  • Q - Where do I get the Hardware Periperhals from (BP Meters, BG Monitors, ECG etc)?
  • A - Evaware Ltd provides a complete turn-key solution with the Project E-vita product and can provide all the software and hardware necessary.
  • Q - Can the system be used as a prescribing reminder tool?
  • A - Yes. The RTX platform can have tailor made scripts run at preset times of the day to act as reminders to patients.
  • Q - Is there a minimum number of patients required to be able to use Project E-vita?
  • A - No. With the special Telehealth tariff you can start with one patient and build up from there.
  • Q - We want to deliver Telehealth services from multiple sites and with multiple teams. Can Project E-vita handle this?
  • A - Yes. Project E-vita is a scalable Enterprise solution. You can establish a complete Organisational / Enterprise structure in Project E-vita and assign personnel to each department / site. The patients can also be assigned to individual teams / sites / departments.
  • Q - What is the Telehealth Tariff?
  • A - As opposed to traditional licencing based on a per user basis (IE per Doctor, Nurse or Clerk) the Telehealth tariff raises a charge per patient. This means as your Service or Project grows and contracts so do your costs adjust accordingly to mirror your service/business.
  • Q - Can a patient have multiple monitors?
  • A - Yes, the hardware monitor platforms can be mixed together to deliver services to a patient.
  • Q - Does the Blackberry / Mobile Phone gateway solution pass the patient readings to the record using SMS?
  • A - No. That is an unsecure method of transfer. Project E-vita uses secure Blackberry Data / WAP Data channels to pass the information. This requires the patient has a Data tariff of some kind (Even if it is only a "Pay as you go" tariff.)
  • Q - I see there is a lot of functionality relating to running clinics and other aspects of record keeping. Do we have to pay extra for those features?
  • A - No. The tariff is a single per patient fee and covers *ALL* features in the solution. This means that customers can use the system to deliver Telehealth Services, but at the same time can keep complete patient records on Project E-vita and even use it to deliver administrative support like managing clinics etc. The only other recurring fee is the cost for bundles of text SMS messages, but if your organisation is not using Project E-vita to send SMS alerts (See Alerting here) then you will not incurr this charge.
  • Q - We would like to distribute Project E-vita Telehealth Services in our country as a reseller / partner. Do you have a reseller / partner program?
  • A - Yes, most definitely. Click here to leave your enquiry and one of our personnel will be in touch as soon as possible.
