Project E-vitaTM Risk Management
Overview
Project E-vitaTM provides functionality for
integrating information on patient safety incidents and complaints with clinical
patient data. Reports received from Patient complaints or your staff reporting incidents
(Clinicians, Nurses, PALS) can along with supporting documentation be directly added
to the patients EPR along with all clinical data. This data can then be aggregated
and analysed to produce a comprehensive picture of the organisations risk profile.
Project E-vitaTM is the only Risk management solution that provides for
the entry of clinical terminology and integrated with Risk related data.
Unlike many other systems Project E-vitaTM
uses SNOMED-CT as the foundation for the coding of incidents
and complaints. This international standard coding scheme is then further enhanced
by allowing the end user to define their own categories and classes of Incidents
and Complaints. When combined, these coding schemes provide the end user with a
very powerful Risk analysis tool.
Project E-vitaTM helps you to manage complaints.
At every step Project E-vitaTM can be used to keep track of current activity
from registration and acknowledgement of initial receipt right through to final
resolution.
Complaints and incidents are recorded against individual
departments and sites so that unusually high rates of complaints or incident activity
can be quickly identified.
If your organisation lacks capacity or infrastructure
for supporting a Risk management solution then we can offer the use of
Project E-vitaTM (ASP), a secure subscription based service hosted
on our existing Project E-vitaTM data centre. All you need at the user
end is an internet enabled web browser to access the service. For those larger organisations
with dedicated hardware and networks of their own then Project
E-vitaTM (Classic) is available.
