network. MACIC from Project E-vita let's you load your PDA or Notebook with your
patient's records from your Project E-vita system and then add to them while visiting
a patient in their own home or on hospital ward rounds. Ideal for those places of
patient clinical contact that lack network infrastructure, MACIC means you don't
have to lose out on fast and accurate gathering of important clinical data.
MACIC (pronounced [mach-ick]) stands for Mobile Autonomous Clinical Information
Capture and as its name implies, delivers a new and inventive way of capturing clinical
data while on the move.
Record patient observations and vitals together with pathology using your own SNOMED-CT
based templates. Add clinical free text. Enter planned future appointments/visits.
Once you have completed recording information through the simple to use user interface
the data is stored in encrypted storage pending the next time you are in range of
a wired or wireless network when you can synchronise this new data with the master
record on your Project E-vita system.
