Billing
May-2006 heralded the release of new billing functions
in Project E-vita. Billing Codes can be stored in the system (Or batch uploaded)
together with costs to be charged. Users search this database using the codes or
free text and pick the matching code to use. While coding an the billing for a clinica
encounter / consultation the operator has the choice of overriding the default costs
stored in the Project E-vita tariffs. When billing is completed the operator can
then printout a document showing the charges.
In environments where the procedure code is also the billing
code Project E-vita automatically converts procedure codes to the corresponding
bill codes instead of the user having to search twice for the same code, once as
a procedure code and then once again in relation to billing.
3rd Party Ledgers
Project E-vita is can be configured to export data compatible
with most 3rd party accounting systems.
TradingWorks Ledgers
Project E-vita is being adapted for connection to the
Evaware TradingWorks Accounting and Backoffice suite of systems. This will provide
a seemless link between Project E-vita billing functions and the Trading works Sales
ledger and invoicing systems. (See news
