Individual user accounts can also now have optional fingerprint
verification enabled requiring validation of the user's fingerprint before access
is granted to the confidential records held in your Project E-vita service.
Our fingerprint identification systems do not store the
physical scan of the fingerprint but rather an algorithm for the minutiae thus any
patient / staff concerns about their fingerprint being stored and perhaps abused
in identity theft can be allayed. It is impossible to reconstruct an actual image
of a fingerprint from minutiae data.
Solid engineering and superior materials used by our scanner
suppliers ensure reliability even under extreme conditions, while exceptional software
design ensures speedy enrolment of fingerprint scans and retrieval of patient identification.
