Summary: Project E-vita now features a revised coding engine with among other improvements access to the Pathology Bound Coding List.

Description: Project E-vita systems have implemented a new coding engine. This new coding engine allows the operator to apply clinical coding in combinations of SNOMED-CT, ICD-10 or a chosen procedure coding standard like OPCS-4.

The new interface uses AJAX technologies to allow the system to search for the clinical code in the background, while the operator continues to refine the search in the foreground so saving time executing clinical coding tasks.

The system also enables the physician to search the SNOMED-CT dataset for those terms that comprise the NHS Pathology Bound Coding List for the quick recording of pathology results in environments where electronic ordering may not be available.

The charting / graph display functions in Project E-vita have been upgraded to give pathology results in graphical format.
